The next creative meeting between the military orchestras of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Royal Regiment of the United Kingdom took place.

A concert program titled "Echoes of Melodies" was held at the National Guard’s Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, organized in cooperation with the British Embassy’s military department in Uzbekistan. The event featured performances by the orchestra of the Royal Regiment of Yorkshire and the Separate Exemplary Military Band of the National Guard of Uzbekistan.

The cultural event was attended by Deputy Commander of the National Guard S. Mamayusupov, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Timothy Smart, the UK’s Defense Attaché in Uzbekistan, Robin Steadman, as well as relevant officials from partner ministries, students of the National Guard’s Military Music Academic Lyceum and Tashkent’s “Temurbeklar School,” along with military personnel and employees of the system.

Under the direction of skilled military conductors – Major Ramil Asfandiyarov and Captain Harry Clegg, a recipient of the Order of the British Empire – the orchestras performed a series of military marches and modern musical compositions in the form of improvisations.

The more than ten unique pieces performed during the concert not only immersed the audience in the world of music but also left a lasting impression.

Through this creative meeting, both sides had the opportunity to discuss new prospects for mutual cooperation and to exchange experience in organizing ceremonial events in the future.
