Friendly international cooperation is strengthening
A delegation of the National Guard paid a visit to Turkey on June 22-25. During the visit, the delegation members got acquainted with the activities of the Turkish Gendarmerie General Command, a number of departments, the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy and the Nevşehir and Istanbul Gendarmerie Departments. The Commander-in-Chief of the Turkish Gendarmerie, General Arif Çetin, noted that the visit of the Uzbek delegation was a logical continuation of friendly relations between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey and expressed readiness to expand cooperation between the two agencies in all areas. During the visit, agreements were reached between the National Guard and the Turkish Gendarmerie to increase the number of practical trainings, courses, exchange visits of specialists, as well as to further expand cooperation in the field of personnel training.
