REPUBLICAN COMPETITION "SANAT GUNCHALARI"

The republican competition "Sanat gunchalari" in playing wind and percussion instruments was held in Tashkent on March 27-28 this year. This competition was organized by the Union of Composers of Uzbekistan and the National guard, about 166 young musicians, winners of stages in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, took part in it.

The award ceremony for the winners of this interesting and uncompromising competition was held at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. It was noted at the event that this traditional competition plays an important role in identifying and comprehensively supporting talented children.

Most of the young performers, having gained experience, having won the republican competition, also achieved high results at international festivals held in different countries of the world. Prize-winning places were taken by 66 participants, of which 37 competitors (17 woodwinds, 15 brass and 5 percussion instruments) are students of the Republican Specialized Music Lyceum of the National guard. The organizers of the competition adequately awarded the winners with diplomas and valuable gifts.
