A NEW STAGE OF COOPERATION WITH THE NATIONAL GUARD OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

A delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General R. Zhaxylykov, arrived in Tashkent on a return visit.

A solemn meeting with the Commander of the National Guard, Major General R. Djuraev, took place at the Central Office of the National Guard.

The event was attended by Deputy Commanders, heads of Departments of the Central Office, brigade commanders, as well as heads of the University of Public Security and the Specialized Training Center of the National Guard.

Heads of territorial departments and regional training centers participated via video conferencing.

During the meeting, the heads of agencies emphasized the importance of developing and strengthening collaboration in the field of security and training of military personnel between the two fraternal countries.

The head of the Kazakh delegation noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan is based on strong centuries-old ties of friendship and good neighborliness.

Following the meeting, the heads of agencies signed a bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2022, which includes a number of practical activities.

Further, as part of the visit program, the delegation visited the University of Public Security, a Specialized training Center, Victory Park, as well as a number of units of the National Guard.

The visit takes place in a traditionally friendly atmosphere.
