Teams from the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the competition, which took place from March 17 to March 21 this year at the Camp Shelby military training base in Mississippi, USA.

Servicemen of the National Guard of Uzbekistan and 20 teams of special operations units of the National Guard of the United States took part in the competition, which was organized with a view to strengthening international military cooperation and raising the prestige of service in special units.

During the competition, our servicemen (senior and junior sergeants) successfully completed individual physical training tests: passing through a zone of physical and mental stress, navigating the terrain at night at a distance of 15 kilometers, marching at a distance of 20 kilometers with a load of 15 kilograms, combat and general training tests, writing an essay (at least 500 words on the topic of combat cooperation), artillery fire control, disassembly, assembly and combat readiness of American-made firearms, as well as shooting with it in various ways and conditions, medical training, protection from weapons of mass destruction, exercises in unexpected non-standard situations. They achieved the highest results among the participating National Guard units and took 1st place.

The participation and results achieved by the Uzbek teams were highly appreciated by the organizers of the competition and recognized as the result of large-scale reforms implemented in the system of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. So our servicemen who showed high results were awarded the medal "FOR EXEMPLARY SERVICE" and the badge "ADVANCED SOLDIER OF THE YEAR".

On March 23 of this year, a solemn meeting of our servicemen took place at Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport.
