ANNOUNCEMENT

In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks outlined during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Writers’ Alley on 20 May 2020, the University of Public Security has been conducting systematic scientific research. In particular, the in-depth study and wide promotion of the life, statecraft, and outstanding military leadership of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, to whom the University is institutionally affiliated, has been designated as a priority task.
In this regard, with the aim of synthesizing scholarly research in this field and facilitating international exchange of experience, it is planned to hold an International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled:
“Military Strategy and the Art of Warfare in the Era of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur and the Baburid Dynasty.”
The conference will contribute to the analysis of Baburid military strategy within the context of modern military science and will serve to strengthen the spiritual and patriotic education of youth.

Conference Details
The conference is organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the University of Public Security, in cooperation with several foreign educational institutions, and will be held on 13 February 2026 at 3:00 PM in ONLINE and OFFLINE formats.
Purpose of the Conference
The primary objectives of the conference are:
to conduct a scholarly study of the military art, strategy, and tactics of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur and the Baburid era;
to reveal the role and significance of this military heritage in the development of world military history and statehood;
to formulate academic conclusions based on historical sources;
and to integrate this scientific heritage into modern military education, research, and spiritual-enlightenment processes.
Conference Sections
The international scientific conference will operate through the following sections, and papers will be accepted accordingly:
The military-political activities of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur and the Baburids.
Babur’s military leadership, tactics, and the international study of the art of warfare.
The role of the military sphere in Baburid statehood.
The military heritage of Babur and the Baburids and its modern scholarly interpretation.
Guidelines for Manuscript Submission
Submitted scientific articles must be prepared in A4 format, typed in MS Word, using Times New Roman, font size 14, with a length of 3–7 full pages, single-spaced, and with 2.0 cm margins on all sides. Page numbers should not be included.
The first line should contain the title of the article, centered and written in bold capital letters.
The second line should indicate the author’s full name and place of employment.
The main text begins from the third line. Citations should be indicated as follows: [1, p. 11].
Articles must be edited in Uzbek, Russian, or English and submitted to the Organizing Committee in both hard copy and electronic format no later than 5 February 2026.
Publication Information
Scientific articles and abstracts that meet the editorial board’s requirements will be published free of charge. Authors will receive an electronic (PDF) version of the conference proceedings.
