The meeting was conducted in an analytical and critical manner and was attended by Deputy Commanders of the National Guard, heads of structural and territorial departments, commanders of educational institutions and military units, as well as responsible officials and military personnel in relevant areas.
Before proceeding to the items on the agenda, the Commander of the National Guard addressed the social and military-political situation unfolding in the world and in our region, which could potentially pose a threat to our country, and cited a number of examples.
It was also emphasized that, in order to prevent such threats and risks, the Honorable President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, is paying particular attention to ensuring the comprehensive readiness of the country’s security and defense forces.
It was noted that the measures being taken serve to further enhance the combat capabilities of the National Guard and strengthen its ability to respond promptly to changes in the situation.
Following this, a number of important issues included on the agenda were reviewed in an analytical and critical manner. These included the combat readiness and special training of National Guard personnel, ensuring public safety, preventing crime and offenses, strengthening military discipline and compliance with legislation among personnel in units, continuously improving moral and educational training, as well as matters related to logistics and material-technical support.
On these areas, the Deputy Commanders and responsible officials delivered reports covering the situation across the regions. In turn, the Commander identified existing shortcomings and set important tasks aimed at ensuring that measures to eliminate them are taken promptly and without delay.
Regarding the issues discussed, the Commander set clear tasks to ensure strict discipline among personnel, personal leadership by commanders in fulfilling their military duty and service responsibilities, increase the personal responsibility of all commanders and military personnel, and make critical analysis of service processes a daily practice.
Furthermore, relevant instructions were issued to ensure the full implementation and strict monitoring of comprehensive measures developed to address the important tasks facing the system, as well as the practical implementation of the Main Activities Plan of the National Guard’s governing bodies and units for the 2026/2027 academic year.
