Established cooperation with the National Security Guard of India
The National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carrying out systematic work to establish and develop international cooperation.
In particular, on January 25 of this year an online meeting was held between the Commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General R. Djuraev and the Chief Director of the National Security Guard of India, M. Ganapati.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation between the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Security Guard of India.
The Indian side expressed its readiness to develop bilateral cooperation with the National Guard of Uzbekistan on the basis of trust and respect, and for the purpose of interagency exchange of experience, proposed to hold joint exercises in the field of security.
In turn, the Commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed his readiness to develop bilateral cooperation with the Indian side in all areas of official activity, and also proposed to establish cooperation between the Public Security University and the corresponding higher military educational institution of the National Security Guard of India.
Following the meeting, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Security Guard of India took place.
It was noted that this document will allow for further practical cooperation between the two departments in the field of ensuring public security and law and order, combating with terrorism, training and retraining of military personnel, through joint trainings and mutual visits.
The meeting was held in the spirit of friendly and constructive dialogue.
