NEW ASPECTS OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

At the initiative of the National Guard, for the first time, a delegation of the National Security Guard of India, headed by Director General M.A. Ganapati, arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

Earlier, on January 25, 2022, a video conference meeting was held with the Commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General R. Djuraev with Director General of the National Security Guard of India M.A. Ganapati, during which
the heads of agencies identified promising areas of collaboration and signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Guards of Uzbekistan and India.

A solemn meeting of the heads of agencies was held at the Central Office of the National Guard, which was attended by representatives of the National Guard, members of the Indian delegation, as well as the military attaché at the Embassy of India in Uzbekistan.

During the talks, issues of further expansion of practical cooperation and strengthening of interdepartmental interaction were discussed.

In the welcoming part of the speech, the head of the Indian delegation, expressing gratitude for the warm and cordial welcome, confirmed the readiness of the Indian side to exchange experience and organize joint practical activities in the field of security and combating terrorism.

As a result of the event, a Plan of Practical Cooperation for 2022-2024 was signed, which provides for the implementation of a number of joint practical events for the exchange of experience in the field of combat and special training.

A traditional joint planting of a tree took place in the courtyard of the Central Office of the National Guard.

According to the observation program, the Indian delegation will visit the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the National Guard Office for Tashkent and Bukhara region.

As part of the guest stay program, visits to historical spots and cities of Uzbekistan are provided.

The visit of the program takes place in a traditional friendly atmosphere in the spirit of trust and mutual enthusiasm.
