STRENGTHENING COOPERATION WITH THE MIA OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

In recent years, bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus have reached a completely new qualitative level.

Cooperation is developing dynamically in all spheres of life, including military and law enforcement areas.

At the invitation of the Belarusian side, a delegation of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Commander Major General R. Djuraev visited Minsk.

During the meeting, the heads of departments emphasized the importance of establishing and developing bilateral cooperation in the field of security and education.

Following the meeting, the Cooperation Plan for 2022 was signed, which provides for the implementation of practical measures for the exchange of experience in the field of ensuring public security and training military personnel.

Also, within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Faculty of Internal Troops of the educational institution "Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus".

In accordance with the program of the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of units to ensure public safety and law and order, as well as service and combat activities and the material and technical base of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
