A DELEGATION OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE NATIONAL GUARD OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC ARRIVED IN UZBEKISTAN

Within the framework of bilateral cooperation on May 9 this year, a delegation of the National Guard of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by Commander Colonel T. Ergeshov arrived in Tashkent.

Earlier, at the initiative of the Uzbek side, the heads of agencies held negotiations via video conference on the prospects for strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation.

The visit began with a visit to the park "Yangi Uzbekistan" and familiarization with the Independence Monument.

Then, at the Central Office of the National Guard, a meeting was held with the Commander of the National Guard, Major General R. Djuraev.

The event was attended by deputy commanders, heads of departments of the Central Office, brigade commanders, as well as the leaders of the Public Safety University and the Specialized Training Center of the National.

Heads of territorial departments and regional training centers participated via videoconferencing.

At the meeting, the parties discussed plans for practical cooperation in the near future.

Following the event, the heads of departments signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Guard of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the program of visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities and educational process of the University of Public Security, the Tashkent Military Academic Lyceum "Temurbeklar Maktabi", and also visited the "Museum of Glory" in the Memorial Complex of Victory Park.

The delegation's visit was held in a traditionally friendly atmosphere in the spirit of trust and mutual respect.
